Group Chief Executive Officer
Karolína Topolová has been the Company's Chief Executive Officer since 2012 and the Chairperson of its Board of Directors since 2015. She began her career as an Assistant Program Manager at the Hilton Diamond Club (HDC). She later became the HDC Program Manager of a telemarketing sales team, in charge of selected VIP clients of the Hilton hotel network, at the Prague Hilton Atrium hotel. In 1998, she established the Group's call center, which has grown from five employees to a professional team of more than 200. She held the position of call center head from 1998 to 2006. From 2006 to 2007, she served in the positions of Group HR head and call center director. From 2009 to 2012, she held various positions including Deputy CEO and COO, while she was also head of the sales, financial and insurance services, call center, human resources, IT and external communication divisions. She has repeatedly achieved placings in the TOP 25 women of Czech business rankings compiled by Czech business and financial daily Hospodářské noviny and the Most Influential Czech Women survey published by Forbes magazine. The Lady Pro 2015 and Young Managerial Talent 2015 awards were bestowed on Karolína Topolová.
Group Chief Operating Officer
Petr Vaněček has been the Company's Chief Operating Officer since 2014 and a member of its Board of Directors since 2015. From 1999 to 2003, he held the position of Call Centre Manager. From 2003 to 2006, he held several management positions in the buying division of the Group. From 2006 to 2014, he held the position of Director of Procurement.
Group Chief Financial Officer
Vasant joined us from beginning of January 21, as Group CFO and a Member of the Management Board. During his vast career he has worked with great global brands, companies owned by Private Equity/Public/Wealthy Individuals in Automotive and Transport industries.
He is a highly experienced senior business executive having played various roles at operational and group/divisional level in capacity as CFO, Commercial and IT, CEO and Business Development Director within Europe with focus on modernization of finance organization, digitalization and transformation and business development with results driven mindset and a proven track record of delivering double digit cash returns on exits.
In his vast career span, he has held senior roles within Avis, Hertz Scandinavia and at EMEA division level with last engagement at Europcar Mobility Group supporting Business operations as CFO and leading multiple group projects within Car Rental /Leasing spectrum where buying and selling cars is a natural extension of the core activity. He has also held roles as a CFO for the biggest Nordic Bus Transport organization Concordia Bus with majority owned by Goldman Sachs PE fund engaging in acquisitions and raising multiple high yield debt capital and managing syndicated banks and investor management relationships. His other companies included First Group Plc, London Division and easyBus.
He began his career as a Chartered Accountant and worked for KPMG and has a base in London.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Stephen Neil Hopewell has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2016. From 1987 to 1991, he held the position of the General Manager of Pendragon Plc and was involved in its initial public offering in 1989. From 1991 to 2002, he held the position of Operations Director of Pendragon Plc. From 2002 until today, he has been the owner and manager of the UK's Lindop Brothers Toyota dealership chain owning three Toyota and one Honda dealerships. From 2006 to 2016, he held the position of a consultant to the senior management of the Company. From 2007 to 2016, he held the position of the Head of global consulting division at ASE Global PLC. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics / Agricultural Economics from Nottingham University.
Supervisory Board Member
Anthony James Denny has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2015. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company between 2006 and 2012. He graduated from Ryde College of Horticulture. In 1992, he first imported pre-owned cars from the USA into the Czech Republic and since then acquired over twenty years of experience in the pre-owned car business in the Australian, European and American markets. In 1994, he founded a pre-owned car sales centre which has progressively expanded into what is now the Group. He is the founder and most experienced officer of the Group.
Supervisory Board Member
Vratislav Kulhánek has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2018. Vratislav is an experienced business manager in automotive and former Chairman of the Czech Ice Hockey Association, graduate of University of Economics, Prague and European Business School. Previously, he held the position of the chairman of the board of directors of Škoda Auto, member of the supervisory board of Škoda Auto, CEO of Robert Bosch, president of the Czech Industry Association and vice-president of the Czech Confederation of Industry.

Wojciech Adam Lukawski has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2015. He has 14 years of private equity experience, predominantly in Poland. His current focus is on the consumer finance, automotive and infrastructure sectors. In the past, he was on the management board of two mass privatization funds in Poland, overseeing the restructuring and disposal of over 120 former state-owned companies. Prior to this, Wojciech was Finance Director of companies in the construction and textile industries. He also spent a number of years working in an mergers & acquisitions advisory capacity. Wojciech is a graduate of, and has a Master's Degree from, Lodz University.

Stephen John Richmond has joined the Supervisory Board of the Company in 2021. Stephen has more than 20 years of private equity experience in CE and is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Abris Capital Partners, being responsible for all financial, legal and other operational areas, focusing on creating a professional organization acting on industry best practices. Prior to Abris, Steve was a Partner at Copernicus Capital where, after working for four years in Warsaw, he was responsible for the firm’s office and investment activities, initially in Zagreb and subsequently in Belgrade. Before joining Copernicus, Steve held senior management positions with two PE-backed UK companies. Steve has a degree in Zoology from the University of Leeds, UK.
Supervisory Board Member
Lenka Zajíčková has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2020. Serving as the Group Head of Legal since 2014 and Compliance Officer since 2020, Lenka is coordinating and overseeing the Company's entire legal agenda. She has been working in advocacy since 2001, attorney-at-law since 2006. She has been cooperating with the Company since 2010. In 2015, she was a member of the team and the main coordinator of the post-transaction corporate restructuring that followed the acquisition of AAA Auto Group N.V. by the Company and the subsequent cross-border merger of AAA Auto Group N.V. and AAA AUTO a.s. into the Company. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno.
Chief HR Officer
Matyáš Kořínek has been the Director of HR since the end of 2019. His main role in the company is a unified area of human resources and representing the interests of employees in communication management. Another of its core activities is to implement priority HR projects for digitization and paperless processes, talent development for senior managers, succession planning, recruitment to key positions and close cooperation with colleagues and senior managers in implementing culture and evaluating the company in all markets. The year 2003 came to the groups, he held his management positions in F&I and Sales, he left the position of COO in 2008. In addition to the team, he held senior management positions at Citibank, Raifeisenbank and Nationale Niederlanden.
Group Purchasing Director
Martin Hrudník has held the position of Group Purchasing Director since January 2017. In particular, he is responsible for determining the Company's buying strategy, marketing activities and supervision of human resources. He also leads new projects supporting the Group's expansion. He began his career working in the construction industry and joined the Group in 1999. He started as a buying assistant and in 2004 became a regional buying manager. He has worked at different branches in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Group Stock & Service Director
Pavel Pospíšil currently holds the position of Group Stock & Service Director. He is in charge of managing the stock, service and transport department, determining the strategy to achieve the Group's goals, and setting up the KPIs for all subordinate departments. He began his career working for a business in the United States. He joined the Group in 1999 and gradually gained experience across several departments of the Company. He held the position of logistics manager for two years.
Group Sales Operations Director
Leoš Pilnaj currently holds the position of Group Sales Operations Director. He started out in his career as a Toyota dealer in Ústí nad Labem. He joined the Company in 2000 as a salesman in Prague. Across the years, he has worked as a site manager in Ústí nad Labem, a Group sales manager, manager of the largest branch in Prague and as the manager for the Czech Republic and Russia.
Group Innovations Director
Stanislav Gálik holds the position of Group Innovations Director and manages innovations and special projects across the Group. Since 2014, he has run the UNIFER Innovation Centre, focusing on the cooperation of universities and the commercial sphere. He previously managed several innovative projects at Česká spořitelna. He is the author of the book Psychology of Persuasion. In 2016, he published a book called How I Hitched A Lift On An Aeroplane, which describes his journey around the world with a unique method he called “rich-hiking”. As a consultant, he worked on long-term projects for companies such as J&T Banka and Tesco Stores. In 2015, Forbes magazine placed him in its 30 Czechs Under 30 ranking.
