The AAA AUTO network of used car dealerships opened a new branch with an area of 15,900 m2 today in the Polish city of Krakow, relocating from a previous site after six years where it no longer had sufficient space. With this move, AURES Holdings is continuing its expansion plan, which mainly focuses on Poland within the group. In total, AURES Holdings, operator of the AAA AUTO and Mototechna network, has 12 branches in Poland and over sixty dealerships or service centres in all five countries where it operates. The group offers a total of 12,000 cars across the individual countries. The opening ceremony, hosted by Poland’s favourite “car family” Joanna and Włodzimierz Zientarski, was also attended by Karolína Topolová, CEO of AURES Holdings, which operates the AAA AUTO network in Poland. Natalia Tomczyk, influencer and face of AAA AUTO in Poland, also helped to cut the ribbon.
AAA AUTO opened the new dealership offering a full range of servicing, sales, purchasing and financial services at 69 Pasternik Street in Krakow. The branch with a total area of almost 16,000 m2 will build up to an offer of up to 600 cars, five times as many as at the original branch. Over 550 square metres of modern offices are available for providing services to customers. The branch had been in its original location for 6 years and was no longer able to meet the ever-increasing demand.
“After a number of years, the used car centre is now located in modern premises for both clients and employees of the branch. The space for the vehicles on offer has also increased, and we can now accommodate 600 cars, five times the original capacity. We are already offering over 400 cars at this site today. At this branch, we are also ready to offer clients the possibility of buying a car on credit and arranging insurance, which will be brokered by trained specialists,” said Karolína Topolová, CEO and Chair of the Board of AURES Holdings, operator of the AAA AUTO international network of used car dealerships. AAA AUTO has sold more than 105,000 cars in Poland over its entire period of operation in Poland from 2015 up to the end of August 2023.

The AAA AUTO Kraków used car dealership is designed to service the area of the Kraków conurbation, which is home to over 1.5 million inhabitants. “We are mainly targeting Krakow itself, with more than 800,000 inhabitants, and cities such as Tarnów, Olkusz, Nowy Sącz and Kielce, but also the rest of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. We gradually want to achieve a figure of 400 cars sold per month in Krakow. Customer care and branch operations will be handled by up to 42 employees,” said Karolína Topolová. The branch is located in an area with natural visitor traffic near the Katowice exit road and the A4 motorway.
The Krakow branch was built using a new office concept with a total area of 550 m2, offering customers greater comfort and a more pleasant ambience. It also features an electromobility section with charging infrastructure. The branch is equipped with Rebeka 01 car wash technology which allows for recirculation of used water. Thanks to this, it is able to reuse up to 80% of the 180 litres of water used to wash one car. A photovoltaic power plant with an output of 12 kWp is installed on the roof, contributing towards the energy efficiency of the whole operation.
Just like in the rest of Poland, most customers in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship buy Opels. The most common model is the Astra. The majority of customers, over 73%, choose petrol cars, while the remaining 27% choose diesels. “Alternative drivetrains are not so popular among customers in this region yet, but we have seen increased interest since the beginning of the year and we can expect demand to increase significantly throughout the year. So far, however, we are still only selling a few of these cars,” said Topolová, elaborating on the situation. The top sellers in Krakow this year are hatchbacks, followed by SUVs and estates. 79% of customers buy cars with a manual gearbox and 21% are automatics. The most popular colours are black (19%), grey (18%) and white (16%). Almost two-thirds of cars sold in Krakow this year had cruise control, 73.4% of customers were men and 26.6% were women.
